  It's an absolute gem. Brilliant ten course meal, really broad palette of ingredients, loads of flavour and texture in every plate. Whoever assembled the cheeseboard deserves special mention because in 40 years of eating I've rarely had a better chosen and executed selection of cheese. Wine pairing was superb even magical at points when the exact same flavour notes appeared in wine and food - let me be clear this wasn't because the wine had been used in the cooking it was because brilliant palettes had arranged the marriage.
  
  The service was unobtrusive yet attentive, warm and deeply knowledgeable.
  
  Flawless experience.
  
  Alex Bond and the team were excellent last night. If they stick to, or somhow better this form, their future success is deserved.
